BYD B-BOX Premium LVS 20.0 – 20 kWh Low Voltage Home Battery

The BYD Battery-Box Premium LVS 20.0 is an advanced energy storage solution for both residential and commercial applications. This latest generation builds on the reliable technology of previous Battery-Box models, but offers enhanced features with a 10% larger capacity and a more compact design. The optimized Battery Control Unit (BCU) is lighter, and the system can deliver a maximum current of 90A per module for five seconds, making it suitable for off-grid applications and backup power. For larger commercial installations, up to 64 modules can be connected in parallel, with a maximum total system capacity of 256 kWh.

Key Features

The modular plug-in design of the LVS 20.0 eliminates internal wiring, making installation quick, easy, and user-friendly. The BCU connects to the inverter via a battery cable, allowing the system to seamlessly integrate with leading inverter brands such as SolarEdge, SMA, and GoodWe. This makes the LVS 20.0 suitable for a wide range of applications, from residential solar systems to commercial energy storage solutions.

The battery uses cobalt-free lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cells, ensuring maximum safety, a long lifespan, and reliable performance. The system meets the highest safety standards according to VDE 2510-50 and offers powerful emergency power and backup functionality. Thanks to the smart plug-in design and the special BYD connector, installation is simple and convenient, even for larger systems.

TheBYD LVS 20.0It has a usable capacity of 20.0 kWh, a nominal voltage of 51.2 V, a maximum output current of 250 A, and a peak output current of 360 A for five seconds. The system weighs 244 kg, has an IP55 rating, and measures 1410 x 650 x 298 mm.
