The GoodWe GW20K-ET is a powerful hybrid inverter from the ET series, designed for larger residential and small commercial solar power systems with battery storage. With a power output of 20 kW , support for home batteries, and a fast UPS backup function (<10 ms), this inverter offers a complete solution for energy generation, storage, and backup power.

The inverter features high DC input currents of up to 38A per MPPT and up to 17A per DC connection , making it ideal for modern solar panels with higher power outputs. In addition, the system can manage peak loads via peak shaving , which helps optimize energy costs and grid load.

For added safety, the inverter features integrated DC surge protection (Type 2) and arc fault detection (AFCI) . The package also includes a Wi-Fi LAN Kit 2.0 and a 3-phase energy meter , enabling direct monitoring and energy management.

According to the GoodWe compatibility table, this inverter series does not support an external data logger. Therefore, connecting additional PV inverters via a logger is not possible.

The GW20K-ET is an excellent choice for installations where high power, battery storage and reliable emergency power supply must be combined in one efficient system.
